Sousada Chidthachack was born in a Thailand refugee camp. Her family arrived in the United States of America in 1986 when Sousada was 2 years old. Sousada received a Bachelors Degree in Mathematics and Secondary Education from the University of St. Thomas in 2006. She is currently working on a Masters Degree in Curriculum and Instruction at the University of St. Thomas. Sousada is an employee of Minneapolis Public Schools and teaches at Folwell Middle School.
